Centre Team
Centre Team
Sangam's Centre Team is a group of dedicated volunteers who meet annually to review Sangam's successes and envision the centre's next steps for the future.
Words From Ana Maria - Centre Team Chair
I am honored and delighted to be Sangam Centre Team Leader for the next three years. To be a WAGGGS World Centres Committee member is a great challenge that I assumed with responsibility, and I'm especially excited to support and assist in the overall performance of Sangam.
I joined Guías Scouts del Perú as a brownie, at the age of 7 years old. I have been a girl guide, a ranger and a guider for many years and have taken several national positions. While leading my association in 1998 and 2007-2009, I gained invaluable experiences-building working teams, managing community service projects and traveling through all my country training and working with girls, young women and adults.
My international opportunities have taken me to Our Cabaña, Our Chalet and recently to Pax Lodge, as well as to U.S.A., Chile, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Canada, Japan and South Africa, all consolidating my tolerance, flexibility and my appreciation of different cultures. Through guiding I have met wonderful people and everlasting friends around the world!
We will enjoy planning the future actions for Sangam, using all our skills, abilities and experience to achieve WAGGGS Vision and Mission.
ShubhKaamna!
