REGIONAL DIRECTOR, ASIA PACIFIC REGION

circa £39,000 per annum plus attractive benefits package

Based in London, with international travel

As Regional Director, you will lead on growing, implementing and measuring our work in the Asia Pacific region.  A dynamic and experienced manager, with practical knowledge of the region, you will drive the development of WAGGGS’ three global strategic goals in leadership, membership and advocacy at regional and national levels.

As a key member of the Regional Operations team, you will also actively participate in and contribute to our global work.  Working in partnership with volunteers and member organizations, you will inspire, support and encourage the development of girl guiding/girl scouting in the region and beyond.  A confident communicator and team player, you must be willing and able to travel extensively.  Fluency in English is essential and Mandarin desirable.  Other Asia Pacific languages would be an advantage.

WORLD CENTRE MANAGER

WAGGGS is looking to recruit an exceptional individual to take on this key position at Our Chalet in Adelboden.  Welcoming guests from around the world, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, dynamic team-player prepared to take on new challenges in an international setting.

 
A confident manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the World Centre and the leadership of a team of international staff and volunteers.  You will work to ensure the highest standards of customer service to all visitors and support constant improvements to service delivery. 

 

You will need to be an active team manager with outdoor experience, have excellent communication skills and enjoy being challenged.  Fluency in written and spoken English is essential, with knowledge of German highly desirable.
