Sangam can help you to organise your onward travel after your event at Sangam.

 
In conjunction with Adventure World Travel - a Delhi based company Sangam has been affiliated with since 1994 - six specially designed tours are available for Sangam Guests at reasonable rates. 

The tours vary in length and destination and are available for groups of any size. 

The Tours are listed below.   Click on the links for a full itinerary description and details of costs.

Note:

  •  The Indian Government has recently introduced new taxes on services for foreigners. This will have an impact on the cost of the tours.
  • Costs are quoted for the land (hotel and vehicle transport) and  air (any flights) seperately.   

All tours:   

  • Begin on the afternoon of the last day of your event, after the closing ceremony  
  • Visit the most interesting sights and historic locations in the cities you visit
  • Include tour guides at all stops along the way  
  • Use air conditioned transportation  
  • Use 3-4 star hotel rooms
  • Include breakfast  
  • Include transfers for flights home

 What do I need to do to book a tour? 
  • Read through the itineraries and decide where you would like to travel, how long you want to travel for and how many people want to travel from your group.
  • If you can’t make a decision, take the time to read through guide books on India to get an idea of what you’d like to see. This should help you.
  • Contact info@sangamworldcentre.org and indicate which event you are attending and which tour you are interested in.
  • Send any questions you have to info@sangamworldcentre.org - staff will be happy to answer them.
  • Complete the EIT manifest for all group members including: Full names, nationality, passport number, passport date and place of issue, passport expiry date and a rooming list - who wants to share with who and if you want single, double or triple rooms. Return this to the Event Administrator at Sangam.  It will be used for hotel registration forms. 
  • Send a deposit for the tour of $50.00 US per person to Adventure World directly.

There are three ways that groups can send deposits:  

Obtain a bank draft in US dollars and post it to Perfect Travels and Tours PVT. LTD (same company as Adventure World). 

Write a personal cheque on your home bank account for the amount that is equivalent to the US dollar amount you owe, and post it to Perfect Travels and Tours PVT. LTD

Relax! As described below, Sangam staff will take care of everything else.  

What will Sangam do for my group?

  • We will book the tour and confirm costs.  
  • We will answer any questions you have before your trip and will coordinate any necessary information between you and the agent.
  • During your event, we will provide your group with an information session about the tour including hints and tips and will answer any last minute questions.
  • We will escort you to the train station or airport on your departure from Pune to ensure that your journey begins smoothly.  
  • Sangam World Centre charges an administration fee of £15.00 (British Pounds) per person for these services.

What if I don’t want to do one of the tours listed?

  • If your group has special requests for a tour other than one of the six listed, or if you wish to take one of the tours with major amendments, then Sangam staff asks you to contact Adventure World directly and organise your tour with them, independent of Sangam.  
  • Sangam will then not be involved in the coordination of your tour.
