Independent Guests

Staying at Sangam as an independent guest is a great option for Guides and Scouts, their family and friends who are passing through Pune or for those who would like to visit Sangam for a short time without participating in an event. We offer very reasonable rates for accommodation and meals. Sangam provides independent guest accommodation in dorms or rooms with shared bathrooms and can also provide meals for guests as long as they request them at least 2 meals in advance.
As Sangam’s first priority is to run events for as many participants as possible, we usually cannot accommodate long-term guests as that would mean less space for event participants.
However, if you are interested in staying at Sangam for a longer time during our off-season (April-May) or during a period when we are less busy, there is a chance that you may be able to do so. Contact Sangam directly at info@sangamworldcentre.org for more information.
Also, we have multi-month volunteer opportunities for Girl Scouts and Guides at Sangam and a Community Volunteer Programme working with NGO’s within the Pune community.
Sangam’s staff would usually be busy with events and work at the centre, so Sangam is not able to provide programme sessions or tours for independent guests, but we do have a shelf of information about places to visit, things to do, and how to get there and back. There is a rickshaw stand just outside Sangam’s front gate so transportation is easily arranged independently.
Independent guests who stay at Sangam during an event can often join in programme sessions for a small fee Rs 200 per session.
Event participants are given first priority for accommodation during Event Sessions, please contact info@sangamworldcentre.org to find out about our availability, please see the Independent Guest page for more information .
