Community Volunteer Programme Costs

2007 & 2008

The fees are:

Double Room : ₤1650 per person

Single Room : ₤1900 per person

A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required at the time of acceptance into the programme.  The remainder is due on arrival. 

All fees are subject to change.

The CVP programme fee includes:

• A single or double room
•  3 meals daily if eaten at Sangam or if packed lunch is taken
• Safe drinking water
• Laundry facilities
• Communal lounge
• 2-week orientation programme
• Transportation to and from placement site
• Weekly language lessons
• Cultural learning and debriefing
• Introduction to local people
• Mediation with organizations if needed
• Emergency assistance
• Advising and support
• Re-entry orientation at the end of your stay

The fee does not include:

• Passport and visa fees
• Airfare 
• Spending money
• Travel insurance
• Medical insurance
• Immunizations
• Medicine (i.e. anti-malarial)
